Dwar FoodTuristic

Il-proġett FoodTuristic jindirizza n-nuqqas ta’ kurrikulu tat-teknoloġija ħadra fl-iskejjel Ewropej tal-ikel u tal-ospitalità, li tradizzjonalment iffokaw aktar fuq il-ħiliet tal-ġestjoni tal-gastronomija u l-ospitalità. Il-proġett għandu l-għan li jiżviluppa riżorsi diġitali għall-edukaturi u l-istudenti fi skejjel tal-lukandi u kulinari madwar erba’ pajjiżi msieħba biex jitnaqqas il-ħela tal-ikel, jiġu żviluppati ħiliet tal-ekonomija ċirkolari, u tiġi lokalizzata l-produzzjoni tal-ikel. Il-proġett se jiżviluppa kors ta’ edukazzjoni u taħriġ vokazzjonali, websajt, app mobbli, u gwida ta’ prattika tajba biex tindirizza d-differenza fil-ħiliet ekoloġiċi fl-iskejjel tal-ikel u tal-ospitalità Ewropej. Il-proġett għandu l-għan li jnaqqas il-ħela tal-ikel, juża l-ħela tal-ikel f'sistemi ta' kompost ta' teknoloġija ġdida, u juża teknoloġiji ġodda biex jikber ikel xieraq fuq il-post. Il-ħiliet żviluppati mill-utenti tal-output tal-proġett se jkollhom potenzjal qawwi ta' wirt u jibbenefikaw mill-impatt imnaqqas tal-karbonju tal-iskejjel u l-industrija.
