2nd Transnational Partnership Meeting in Dinard

Our second project transnational partnership visit took place in Brittany in May 2024. All partners attended, including from TUS, MTU, VGST and ITS, hosted by LHD. We commenced the meeting with a project management session, discussing budgets, dissemination, impact, project sustainability and then moving through our work to-date, including site visits, purchases and testing and plans for dissemination events.

The wonderful students of LHD then spoke about their gardening project, including their polytunnel, vineyard, herbs, composting system, before we moved inside where they showed us their work with the Shelfy, connected bin system, food waste measurement and distribution. They have done great work testing the items and seem to really enjoy engaging with how technology can support local growing and food waste reduction. We were really impressed with their ability to communicate complex material in a second language to an academic audience.
